The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. They are members of the South division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Buccaneers were founded in 1976 and began playing in 1977. The team is currently owned by the Glazer family and coached by Bruce Arians. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had three different logos since their inception. The first logo was a pirate wearing a football helmet on top of a skull and crossbones with T-Bucs written below it. The second logo was just an outline of a pirate wearing a football helmet on top of an orange circle with T-Bucs written below it. The third and current logo is an orange Buccaneer pirate, named Captain Fear, holding up four fingers on each hand with T-Bucs written below it.
