The Oakland Raiders are an American football team that was founded in 1960. The team was originally called the Oakland Se?ors and its mascot was a mustang horse. However, in 1963, the team changed its name to the Raiders and its mascot became a pirate. The team has had many different logos throughout the years, one of them being a cartoon dog named Snoopy. In 1976, during an NFL game between the Raiders and New England Patriots they debuted their newest logo: Raider Peanuts.
