Step Brothers is a 2008 American comedy film directed by Adam McKay and starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. The film follows the story of Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly), two grown step brothers who are still living together as adults, with Brennan being more successful than Dale. They are forced to live together after their parents decide to sell the house in which they grew up in, but when their parents find out that they are still living there, they force them to get a job or else they will be kicked out.
